We made an announcement earlier this week that we were having some issues with keeping Dreamport alive. Well, those issues have been addressed and some drastic changes have been implemented into Dreamport, specifically the forum. To read more on the situation, please follow the URL:
Regardless of what may or may not happen to Dreamport in the coming weeks, we’re still dedicated to continuing on with AA projects. The Power of the Mind: Micro-Telekinesis project is now up for registration and will deal with the mind’s ability to perform output manipulation. The project is very leniant and gives members a convenient 3 to 4 days to take care of their choice of any or all five experiments within. You can finish the project in a night or you can spread it out over the given period. It’s up to you!

In 21 days, the server that DreamPort is running off of will shut down and unless we pay for a new server, the site as we know it will cease to exist. Skipper and I would really like to see the site continue, but there’s some essential facts to consider before putting money down. Please follow the link below to read more about this situation:

A new experiment has been introduced in the Astral Alliance. This experiment, unlike past Dreamport experiments, will be dealing with something other than dreaming. Instead of figuring out what the mind can do in the dream world, we’re trying to figure out what it can do in the real world. The Power of the Mind is intended to have several projects, all of which will deal with Psychokinesis (manipulation of objects). This first project, aimed at Micro-Telekinesis, will deal with forcing an outcome with numbers and whatnot. For instance, if you have a deck of cards and you want to find the ace of spades, you could use micro-telekinesis to figure out exactly where that ace of spaces is located in the deck.
Psychokinesis is definitely a controversial topic, especially because of the huge amount of skepticism. Sure this idea is pretty out there, but it’s not something to doubt right off the bat. After all, if you did such a thing to lucid dreaming (another out there idea), where exactly would you be today?
Anyway, keep an open mind and read up on the experiment. As always, anybody can join the Astral Alliance and participate in this project (or any of the projects for that matter). Don’t hesitate to join if it interests you!
